October Crafting
October was a big crafting month. I created silk scarves to sell at the gallery. I participated in our community art show and facilitated other artist in learning how to weave on a ridged heddle loom. Weaving was a very big theme this month. I almost finished knitting a sweater, I continued my tote obsession and I achieved a dream for myself. Walking on the beach at the end of my street. Then going to have fun in Asheville at the SAFF wool festival. This has been a very fun and rewarding month.

September Spinning
September has been a very creative month. I started out the month making quilt tops from my hand crafted fabric and making felted beads and turning them into jewelry. All along knitted cross body bags and a sweater. I finished off the month spinning yarn on my spinning wheel and creating art yarn on my hand spindle. Then dyeing and stamping silk scarves while waiting on hurricane Joaquin to disappear from the radar. I guess I've been channeling the creative and Upleveling spinning energy of the Universe this month.

August Crafting
August was an amazingly creative month with lots of crafting, traveling, site seeing and art ventures. I settled in more to my creative space and celebrated my one year anniversary 'living la vida beach!' I have lots of ideas manifesting now and I'm enjoying the creative process.
Today, I've made space in my narrow and small studio for a long folding table. This clean virgin area holds many creative possibilities. Should I continue dyeing and stamping fabric, quilt or sew, paint or collage, weave (now that I made room for my loom at the other end of my studio). What's a girl to do? I have space to work on my computer projects, my good sewing machine is finally fixed. So many options. I think for today though, I want to enjoy this blank canvas. (uh table?)

July Crafting
July was a very productive and creative month at Crafty Diva Cottage. We started off with a fashion shoot for @Arttowearhouse using the Cottage and Crafty Diva Accessories for the backdrop and props. Had a great week with Sheila, Kim and Maddie knitting and laughing and having a great time visiting the OBX. I was knitting, crocheting Totebags, scarves and making photo collages. Finished off the month crocheting a fab tote during the Blue Moon. I'm satisfied and spent at the same time.

The end of May
May has been a very productive month for me. The rest of the world was rock in' and roll in' with tons of disruptive energy. I on the other hand was settling into a groove finding my own rhythm on this little plot of sand. I accomplished a lot spiritually, mentally and physically. I am ready to embark on my new and improved Camp Crafty Diva this summer. I enjoyed my flowers in the garden, organizing my home and studio space, finishing up projects and creating new ones. I am learning to live a simpler and more full filling life with less things and less money. All in all a very productive and gratifying month. My dreams are unfolding one day at a time.

End of March
March came in like a lion and is leaving like a lamb. My emotions were all over the place grief, sadness, sickness, joy, pride, numb, pain, cold, hot, beginnings, endings and answered prayers. Finally, peace. I did finish some projects and continued to work on UFO's, started a new one. All of this as I am walking out my #dreamlife.
